What an absolutely cracking game, just the boost all the fans and I'm sure the players needed. From the outset we looked hungry and went for it, this is just the kind of football we have been waiting for and boy did Everton deliver it to us last night The first goal was from Ossie and was I made up for him - that was one in the face for all those who had wrote him off, nice one mate #good#and I think he was just as delighted as well. The great footy continued, we played like a team possessed and fought tooth and nail; it was just so great to watch decent football and a wonderful team effort. Then if that wasn't enough, fork me we went and scored from a corner #shocked2#totally unheard of as we are normally so sh1te at corners, but enter Captain Jags with a belter of a goal who made it 2-0 The icing on the cake had to come from the one and only Steven Naismith, such a great and reliable player who knocked in the last goal for a 3-0 victory, you only had to look at Tim Howard's reaction at the last goal to see how much it meant. For me though, one player stood out from all the rest last night and rightly deserves Man Of The Match and that was James McCarthy. The lad was in scintillating form and could do no wrong and when he left the pitch, got a well deserved round of applause and a standing ovation . Terrific game James - take a bow son #clap# I for one was buzzing after that game and still feel great now - let's hope we can take that form and game play into the premier league games! March on Blues - the School of Science is on it's way back! When I posted on Twitter that Osman had been given a 1 year extension to his current deal, I received a reply of 'f*** off' by one fan, which I thought was way over the top, not to mention particularly rude so I blocked the little ****. Osman might not be the catch of the day in many eyes, but he is a great player to be able to call upon when needed, and has scored some crackers over the years. If you were to do a Youtube video of every goal he has scored it would look every bit as good as Rooney's etc, as some have been delightful. His presence isn't blocking any youngsters, where perhaps Hibbert is possibly preventing Brownings path, although Tyias could be considered as a Center Back. I often think Osman is rarely involved enough in games, but he's a player that if you have him, keep him. Your post has just made me LOL - good for you blocking the little gobsh1te Also your points about Ossie are well put, I've felt a bit sorry for him of late and it was good to see him getting some well deserved praise for a change.

I agree with the positive comments made by 'Bobbysbluebabe' about the game and the scoreres. James McCarthy was brilliant yet again.
Well done for blocking the foul languaged person!
Derek (60 years)
Ps: My son bought me a Goodison Granites 'Plaque' to celebrate my 60 years of going to the game- Can I find it?.....Absolutely not! I've looked at all the stones from the 'Dixie Dean' area round to both sides of the gated entrance and still can't see it. My eyes are going a bit but not that bad.
Just in case you can see it if you're around the gates at anytime.
Just let me know if you find it, because I can't.
Kind regards,
Derek
