Frank Lampard makes four changes to his Everton starting XI from Tuesday's match against Brighton for tonight's FA Cup third round tie against Manchester United at Old Trafford.
Defenders Seamus Coleman and Ben Godfrey, midfielder Amadou Onana and forward Neal Maupay come into the side in what looks to be a similar setup to the team that earned a 1-1 draw at reigning Premier League champions Manchester City on New Year's Eve.
That means Godfrey - who excelled at the Etihad - returns to partner Conor Coady and James Tarkowski in central defence in a 5-3-2 formation. Captain Coleman replaces Nathan Patterson - who is set to miss the next six weeks with a knee injury - at right wing-back, while Onana starts, having served a one-match suspension against Brighton.
The other change sees Maupay lead the attack in place of Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who had played successive matches ahead of tonight's clash following his return from a knee injury.
Anthony Gordon has recovered from illness to take his place on the substitutes' bench which includes striker Ellis Simms.
Everton XI: Pickford, Coleman (c), Mykolenko, Godfrey, Coady, Tarkowski, Onana, Gana, Iwobi, Gray, Maupay.
Subs: Begovic, Holgate, McNeil, Calvert-Lewin, Gordon, Mina, Doucoure, Davies, Simms.
