We were never off track.
It was merely the national history-haters stirring up trouble (in their own ways).
I'm planning to write an article on the positives of the wider picture, but three defeats in tough fixtures were indeed all many needed to cause trouble.
Enjoy today for what it was, and enjoy the marathons ahead...

I thought we were terrible against United, and fell apart, and Spurs and Newcastle wasn't great either, but today we looked more on the front foot.

Pickford - Wasn't troubled and distribution was good Coleman - I thought he was outstanding and my MOM Miky - Did his job , but he is no Baines is he Coady - Solid Tark - Impressive Gana - Better performance , but still looked slow and ponderous at times Onana - Excellent - Dominated the midfield I thought Iwobi - Another good game from the Nigerian Prince Gordon - Put a great shift in today , attitude was better and didn't try to be clever. Gray - Always a threat but still frustrates the hell out of me at times DCL - Showed what we have been missing McNeil - Took his goal well and showed what he can do with the build up play. Garner , Doucoure , Maupay & Davies - Did their job when brought on.
An overall better performance, we just need to find consistency and keep our players fit.
