Frank Lampard has revealed Dominic Calvert-Lewin has recovered from injury and could feature in Everton's clash with Manchester United on Sunday (7pm BST).
The Blues host Erik ten Hag's side under the lights at Goodison Park, looking to build on momentum following back-to-back Premier League wins and an unbeaten run that stretches back seven games in all competitions.
Calvert-Lewin, who suffered a knee injury in the week leading into the opening game of the 2022/23 campaign, has been carefully managed on his rehabilitation back to full fitness.
Now, after resuming full training at Finch Farm without issue, manager Lampard says the 25-year-old is ready to be involved again.
"Yes, he's in contention," said Lampard, speaking in his pre-match press conference. "We'll have to see how match-fit he is but in terms of the injury he's better. It's a really good boost.
"He's a good player for us, pivotal in us staying the league last year and want to get him playing regularly."
Yerry Mina and Mason Holgate, meanwhile, have stepped up their recoveries from ankle and knee problems respectively.
Both have taken part in training this week, but Lampard believes the visit of the Red Devils will come too soon for the defensive duo.
"They're training with us," added Lampard. "Yerry joined us in the past couple of days, Mason came in today for part of training. They're both working hard to get [back to full fitness].
"This weekend comes too soon probably for both of them, definitely for Mason but we hope with a good week's training next week they can be in contention from then on."
Nathan Patterson (ankle), Ben Godfrey (fractured fibula) and Andros Townsend (ACL) remain sidelined.

Anthony Gordon returns to the starting XI as Everton manager Frank Lampard makes one change for the visit of Manchester United at Goodison Park.
Gordon, who was on the bench for last weekend's 2-1 win at Southampton due to illness, comes in for St Mary's match-winner Dwight McNeil.
Gordon is set to play in a front three with Demarai Gray and central forward Neal Maupay, while Dominic Calvert-Lewin is named on the bench after recovering from a knee injury.
Jordan Pickford starts in goal, with the defence once again made up of captain Seamus Coleman, Conor Coady, James Tarkowski and Vitalii Mykolenko.
The midfield trio remains Idrissa Gana Gueye, Amadou Onana and Alex Iwobi, with Academy graduate Kyle John among the substitutes.
For Manchester United, Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford and summer signing Anthony lead the visitors' attack, while Casemiro is in midfield.

CEO Programme NotesI ended my last programme notes by expressing a wish that the character and fighting spirit Frank Lampard’s side has shown all campaign could lead us to a first Premier League victory of the season against West Ham. You all know what happened – and since then we have celebrated back-to-back Premier League successes and extended our unbeaten run in all competitions to seven games. That is testament to the hard work put in by Frank, his players and his coaching staff. But the hard work is also continuing elsewhere behind the scenes at Finch Farm and we have recently made two more key appointments to our football department. Jack Nayler has been appointed our Head of Sports Science, having held the same role for the past 15 months at Germany’s RB Leipzig.Jack will oversee the Sports Science operation for the men's First Team and will work closely with the other departments overseen by Director of Football, Kevin Thelwell. Carl Darlington, meanwhile, has taken up the position of Head of Academy Coaching. Carl joins us after 17 years with the Football Association of Wales (FAW), the past 12 of which were spent as Head of Coach Education. Enormously respected in that field, Carl's previous position saw him take a leading role in determining the vision and strategy for the FAW, while Mikel Arteta, Patrick Vieira, Steve Cooper and Tim Cahill are among the names who all chose to join the Wales Pro Licence course while it was under Carl's stewardship. Work is continuing apace on the new Everton Stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock and the latest aerial shots show the significant and exciting progress being made on all four sides of the development. The raker beams that support the concrete terracing are now fully installed across all four stands, while the terracing in both the north and south stands is increasingly taking shape. Roof trusses are currently being assembled at ground level in preparation for installation, which will begin in the north and south stands later this month. We have announced the appointment of Elevate, one of the world’s leading sports and entertainment consultancies, to support us with the delivery of our commercial strategy for the new stadium. They are working alongside our expanded partnerships team to scour the globe in order to maximise the greatest commercial opportunity in Everton’s history. Our commercial team, headed by Richard Kenyon, has also this week secured a contract extension with hummel which will see the iconic sportswear brand continue its relationship with us until the summer of 2024. Since first partnering with the Club in 2020, hummel have been integral to five record-breaking kit launches. Their innovative designs and campaigns – including the Alan Ball training shoe which marked 50 years since our much-loved Everton Giant wore his iconic white hummel boots - align closely with who we are as a club and we look forward to our association progressing. Finally, I would like to congratulate Brian Sorensen’s Women’s team on their wonderful win at Anfield in front of a crowd of more than 25,000. High attendances across the Women’s Super League that weekend made it the most watched in the competition’s history - an achievement that underlines the continued growth of the women’s game in this country and bodes well for an even brighter future. A great week was then capped with a dramatic 1-0 win over Leicester City at a sold-out Walton Hall Park. I would like to remind Season Ticket Members that one of the many benefits of being a Season Ticket Member is the ability to secure free tickets for home matches. The next visitors to Walton Hall Park are Chelsea next Sunday (kick-off 1pm). But today our focus is solely on the visit of Manchester United, who we welcome to Goodison. Last season your backing helped us secure a famous and vital 1-0 victory – and hopefully we can repeat that experience again tonight. COYB! Denise

Manager Programme Notes
The next game is always the most important and we’re excited to be back at Goodison Park and under the lights for a big test against a strong Manchester United side.
We head into today’s game in a good moment, unbeaten in seven games in all competitions and following back-to-back wins, but it’s important to reiterate this is just the start of the process.
Comeback wins always feel special and I was delighted with the character and spirit, which has never been in question during my time here, to hit back immediately and secure a win away from home at Southampton.
There will always be hurdles to overcome and last week was no different: losing Nathan Patterson to an ankle injury while he was with Scotland, having Anthony Gordon and Amadou Onana struggling with illness in the build-up to the match at St Mary’s and going behind on the day. But we overcame all of that.
It felt like a significant step in the short-term because those consecutive victories changed the face of the table, which is what we wanted. Wins, as always, breed confidence and build momentum.
After feeling frustrated at not gathering the number of points I felt our performances deserved from the opening games of the season, I believe we’ve been good value for our wins either side of the international break. We’ve dug in when needed but the next step is being more ruthless in attack, so we don’t need to rely on that ability - which is always important - as heavily.
There are levels to come out from these players, for sure. There is still a long way to go and a lot of hard work to do, but as a group, with your incredible support, we’re excited for what lies ahead.
We are building and everyone here is very aware of their responsibility of representing this great club. We will not settle for what happened last season. A club of this size, with our history, our fanbase and, of course, the passion deserves much, much more.
We’ve seen more signs in the past two games of what I’ve spoken about regularly - having more control of games through our possession and being braver with our play between the lines, but our foundation - the defensive work - has been excellent in that period.
Of course, it’s still very early in the season but it’s pleasing to be heading into this weekend with the best defensive record in the Premier League. The spine of the team is much stronger this season and that solidity must be consistent if we are to continue on a positive trajectory.
I must also mention Seamus Coleman, who came in for his first league appearance last weekend and was fantastic.
My thoughts on Seamus - both as a person and as a player - are well known, but coming into a game like that, having barely played at all and not having a pre-season after suffering a tough injury, is extremely difficult.
Naturally, we are disappointed to have lost Nathan after his outstanding start to the season, but I was never in any doubt that Seamus would come in and perform when needed. He deserves a huge amount of credit for his unwavering commitment and level of performance.
We welcome Erik ten Hag and the staff and players of Manchester United.
The way in which Erik has come to a new country, a new league and immediately gone about imprinting his philosophy has been impressive.
As is the case with every new manager, that process takes time, but there are already signs of the identity he wishes his side to play with, and the quality throughout his squad is unquestionable.
We know they’ll be heading to Merseyside looking for a big response following a derby defeat last weekend and it is imperative that we once again match the desire of our opponents to get a result.
As has always been the case since I had the honour of becoming Everton manager, your support will be an important factor and we know you’ll have Goodison rocking tonight.
It’s up to the players to lead the way by maintaining that fight and spirit that typifies this football club – and to thrive on the challenge that lies ahead tonight.
Finally, this is our official fixture dedicated to No Room For Racism.
It’s so important to send a clear message that discrimination in any form should not be tolerated, not just in football but society, in general.
I’m proud that, as a club, Everton’s All Together Now campaign also celebrates equality and diversity and we must all come together to combat discrimination wherever it exists.
Enjoy the game,
Frank
