Not a happy hunting ground , but we won't roll over this time - I think a narrow defeat for us this time around

The Premier League table does looks brutal. It will for some time. But solid, all-round 90-minute performances - with ZERO exceptions - remain crucial, for the results to (eventually) take care of themselves.
A glimmer of hope: when we DID win at The Emirates in 2021, we only secured 15% possession, despite keeping a clean sheet.
The signing of Amadou Onana has gone some way to changing that; not too dissimilarly in how a certain Dutch defender changed a recent opposing club. His passing vision AND his body positioning is, although often unorthodox, extremely effective and efficient. Throw in his charisma and we have quite an outstanding prospect for the short AND medium-term.
I think we'll lose, but I feared that of the derby too!

Jordan Pickford is understood to have suffered a thigh injury that is likely to keep him out for up to a month.
Andy Lonergan, Everton’s third-choice goalkeeper, is also out with a knee issue. However, he is expected to return sooner than Pickford. This will leave Asmir Begovic as the only senior goalkeeper at Goodison Park.
Everton have considered looking at bringing in a free agent to help fill the gaps left by the pair’s injuries. But veteran Lonergan should return after the international break, while Begovic is considered to be solid cover for Pickford. As a result, it is unlikely they will bring someone in.
Everton would use a younger goalkeeper as backup to Begovic while the pair are out.
Pickford is thought to have been troubled by the thigh problem in recent games.

We look like we've a midfield now that can handle themselves, although we'll need to see how that pans out in attack.
