He wasn't the right player for us. I understand why Lampard took a risk with him but it's for the best. I can't see them actually buying him though. Turkey is the best place for him. Apparently he had a decent debut

Dele Alli scored his first goal for Besiktas on Sunday - but the game was marred after a fan ran on the pitch and attacked a player.
Alli, 26, joined Besiktas on a season-long loan from Everton last month following his recent struggles in England. The two-time PFA Young Player of the Year decided on a fresh start in Turkey after scoring just one goal in his last 38 Premier League appearances.
Alli has come under fire in recent years due to his form in England. He was predicted to become the Premier League's next superstar after his first two seasons at Tottenham, scoring 28 goals in the competition between August 2015 and May 2017 - all from midfield.
Yet Alli's form dipped significantly after Spurs reached the Champions League final in 2019, losing 2-0 to Liverpool in Madrid. Tottenham allowed him to join Everton in January and he failed to score a goal for the Toffees before being shipped out to Besiktas.
Although Alli enjoyed a dream evening against Ankaragucu, one fans landed himself in bother after running on the pitch and kicking Beskitas midfielder Salih Ucan in the back. His team-mate Josef de Souza was sent off for throwing the fan to the ground in retaliation

Besiktas manager Senol Gunes has criticised Dele Alli for falling "below expectations" during his loan spell.
The 26-year-old joined the Turkish giants on loan in January in a bid to resurrect his career, after a move to Everton from Tottenham failed to work out.
But Dele has failed to hit the ground running at Besiktas, scoring just once in seven appearances for the club, and his performances have prompted Gunes to publicly admit his disappointment at how things are going.
"I couldn't affect the players [yet], now I can easily touch them, but we haven't touched Dele Alli yet," he told Turkish media. "Let's not discuss Dele Alli as a player, but he is below expectations in terms of efficiency."
Gunes' comments are the latest blow to Dele's career, which has stagnated over the past couple of years after a blistering start to life at Tottenham.

I read about that.
It's up to Deli to get back on track, and if he's hungry enough or just going through the motions.
