Delph injured again now apparently
Everton manager Frank Lampard has revealed Fabian Delph will miss Sunday's visit of Brentford, but Ben Godfrey and Donny van de Beek have a chance of making the matchday squad.
Experienced midfielder Delph has started each of the Blues' past three Premier League games, but was forced off with a "small muscle injury" in the 81st minute of Wednesday's goalless draw at Watford.
Lampard says the 32-year-old will be assessed in the coming days to determine whether or not he can be involved again this season.
Elsewhere, there was better news for Godfrey, who has missed four games with a quadriceps problem, as Lampard revealed the defender is "very close" to regaining full fitness and could "possibly" be involved against Brentford.
It was a similar story for Donny van de Beek, with Lampard expecting the on-loan Dutch midfielder to be available for either Brentford or Thursday's visit of Crystal Palace after sustaining a groin injury last month.
Earlier this week, Lampard explained Yerry Mina (calf) is more likely to be looking towards a potential return against Arsenal on the final day of the season.
Nathan Patterson (ankle) and Andros Townsend (ACL) are out for the remainder of the campaign.

A small muscle injury? We've 3 games left, so play him anyway.

Everton supporters’ groups, including the Everton Fans’ Forum, will once again stage a welcoming committee to greet the players as the team coach arrives at Goodison Park on Sunday. The Blues take on Brentford in a crucial sold-out Premier League clash (kick-off 4.30pm BST) with fans lining the final stretch of the players’ journey. Following the incredible scenes ahead of Everton’s 1-0 home victory over Chelsea earlier this month, supporters have asked fellow fans to attend from 2.30pm and support the team’s arrival as the coaches pass through City Road and on to Goodison Road. The campaign asks fans to start lining up on City Road to ensure everyone gets a view of the coach and encourages fellow Blues to ‘bring your banners, bring your flags and bring your noise’. Supporters’ groups have also been working alongside the Club’s Fan Engagement team to devise a range of banners which will make their debut before kick-off in the Howard Kendall Gwladys Street this weekend. For more information and to stay up to date on the coach welcome, please follow the Everton Fans’ Forum twitter account efc_FansForum. All supporters attending the match at Goodison Park are reminded that smoke bombs and or flares are not permissible inside the stadium. Under strict stadium guidelines, any form of smoke emitting cannisters or pyrotechnics are strictly prohibited. Supporters are especially reminded of the dangers of anything producing a naked flame or a spark. Spot checks will be taking place at turnstiles on entry to the stadium and any smoke bombs or flares found will be confiscated. Any supporter caught with such items inside the stadium runs the risk of arrest and a subsequent stadium ban. Everton FC
