Sarvar Ismailov left his post in the Goodison Park hierarchy earlier this month, just four months after being appointed, citing ‘personal and health reasons’. His role in the Blues’ boardroom was to act as the representative for majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri, replacing the outgoing Sasha Ryazantsev. The 26-year-old appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday to answer a charge of grievous bodily harm with intent to Edmond Krasniqi. Ismailov, the nephew of Blues majority shareholder Farhad Moshiri’s business associate Alisher Usmanov, has been released on bail until December 15. The alleged incident is said to have taken place in June this year in London’s Hyde Park Gate and involved two other men, Sanjar Ismailov and Malik Bilal. Sanjar Ismailov, 34, has also been charged with causing Actual Bodily Harm to a model called Astric Fajcsi on the same day at a flat in Kensington. During his time at Everton, Sarvar Ismailov had been a commercial consultant before becoming sporting and commercial director of the women’s team.
