A new date for Everton’s Merseyside derby at Goodison Park has been confirmed, with two more Blues home matches in April against Nottingham Forest and Brentford also rescheduled for live television broadcast.
Sean Dyche’s men will now take on their city rivals on Wednesday 24 April, 8pm (GMT), the clash being shown live on Sky Sports. The fixture was initially scheduled to take place on Sunday 17 March but was moved due to Liverpool’s participation in the FA Cup.
Meanwhile, Everton’s match at home to Nottingham Forest has been moved from Saturday 20 April to Sunday 21 April, the 1.30pm (GMT) kick-off also being broadcast live on Sky Sports.
The visit of Brentford to Goodison Park on Saturday 27 April, initially set to kick off at 3pm (GMT), will now get under way at 5.30pm and be screened live on Sky Sports.
However, the fixture will move to Sunday 28 April, 4.30pm (GMT), should Manchester City progress in the Champions League and be scheduled to play a tie on Tuesday 30 April.
