Magic Player but obviously didn’t want to be here after our last manager ran off! Wish it could have worked out at least until January where he could have put himself in the shop window, gotten sold to a big club! Did himself and Everton a favour by doing that and could have left on good terms… But it looks like he is off he went over there while we were in need of Midfielders to compete in the Cup!
Wish him Well, just think he should have played a few games in order for the fans to see him off… Hardly anyone saw him live at Everton, I was lucky as I was a guest and saw him play Great player… Pity he had to leave like this no matter who is to blame for him leaving!

What are your Thoughts Blues? There's many angles to look at. There's also a lot of speculative gossip, but I don't like the situation personally. If James wanted to leave, Benitez wanted him to leave, or the club wanted him to leave, all roads are negative. Certainly if you agree a contract, there should be some honour, from both sides. It would be wrong to force a player out (if we did) because he earns too much, as why agree it in the first place? I think it's wrong also for Benitez to put personal feelings first (if he has) and wrong that a player should lose interest like that (if he did). Hard to see positives. It looks bad on the club no matter which way you view it. Also, what a strange destination leaving for UAE, and hard to imagine that it was preferable. I think it's probably a mix of all 3 of the above, but it tops off a summer of controversy, and our fans must be losing confidence quickly. The new stadium won't keep working as a distraction. The club has to start making better decisions. |

Personally I think the guy is a mercenary and is following the money. I for one is relieved he has gone , rather than dragging it out and pocketing the money.
Yeah a great player , but always be a luxury which we couldn't really afford.

One minute we are saying we want to buy young and the next we're filling our squad with old players again. Our board are clueless. |

And when we do sign young players , they rarely seem to get a run in the 1st team |
