Serie A side Roma are hopeful that Everton will turn goalkeeper Robin Olsen’s loan move into a permanent one.
The Swedish goalkeeper joined the Blues on a season-long loan deal in the summer, with Carlo Ancelotti adding him to his squad to provide competition for Jordan Pickford.
That is what the 31-year-old has provided, largely playing back up to the England number for most of the season but impressing when called upon, with Everton unbeaten in three of his four Premier League appearances this season.
His deal at Goodison Park expires at the summer and, while it does not include an option, there is a growing sense that Everton will move to make it permanent.
