Premier League games are set to be broadcast free-to-air as part of Project Restart with the government targeting a mid-June restart.
Oliver Dowden, Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport, confirmed the government's push for some matches to be available freely with subscription services BT Sports and Sky Sports the other broadcasters of Premier League games.
'We are working hard with them to try and get it back, I am aiming for mid-June,' he said on Sky News on Monday morning.

Premier League clubs must reach an agreement over resuming the campaign by May 28, according to reports.
Leagues across Europe had initially been told by Uefa to spell out their plans for resumption by May 25 at the latest, but the postponement of a Uefa Executive Committee meeting has bought some breathing space.
The meeting had been originally scheduled to take place on May 27, but this has now been pushed back to June 17. A June 12 start has been described by Premier League chief executive Richard Masters as a "staging post", and with growing calls for at least four weeks of full training it looks likely that date will be pushed back.

The league would have been finished a few weeks ago so they're at least 10 weeks behind. If they start in June, it would be mid August if they played one game a week, yet can they get 2 games a week in without injuring players?
