Moise Kean has slammed comments by his father over his Everton move. Kean’s father Jean described the striker’s £29 million switch to Merseyside as ‘a mistake’ and urged him to consider a return to his homeland as soon as possible. The Italy international has struggled to make an impression in the early stages of his Goodison Park career after failing to score in his opening 19 appearances. But ex-Juventus hit man Kean, 19, issued a stinging rebuttal to his estranged parent on social media following the comments made last weekend. “Don’t talk about my life when yours is not an example,” he wrote on Instagram. “I don’t fear the hard times when the best comes [after] them.” Kean senior claimed the teenager’s dismal form at the Blues was aligned to the high-profile switch from the Serie A champions in the previous transfer window. “Sending my son to England was a mistake,” he told Centro Suono Sport. “Because he’s still too young, he’s not feeling good at Everton, I didn’t like this transfer. “I hope he can come back to Italy as soon as possible, I hope he goes to Rome. “But the important thing is that he comes back here.” Is that true? AS Roma have a plan to sign Everton striker Moise Kean, according to reports. With the Italian struggling at Goodison Park since his reported (The Guardian) £29 million summer move, plenty of clubs in Italy have been linked with a move to bring Kean back to Serie A.
AC Milan and Sampdoria have been mentioned before but now Roma appears to be a potential option as well.
As reported by Corriere dello Sport, Roma are readying a loan deal until the end of the season, at which point they would buy Kean for a fee in the region of €23 million (£19.7m).
The report suggests Everton have a ‘willingness to negotiate’ as they are ‘very disappointed’ with Kean and want to minimise the potential financial damage of him continuing to struggle on Merseyside and leaving down the line.

Marco Silva has hit back at suggestions Moise Kean should leave Everton and insists the striker has "all the support he needs" at Goodison Park.
Kean has failed to score for Everton since joining in a £27m move from Juventus, prompting his father, Jean, to label the transfer a "mistake".
Jean Kean believes his son is unhappy on Merseyside while Italy manager Roberto Mancini has suggested the striker needs to leave Everton if he is to make the Azzurri's squad for Euro 2020.
However, Silva insists Kean has everything he needs to succeed at Everton.
He said: "Roberto is the manager of the national team and he knows, like I know, what Moise needs because we have already spoke for many, many months about Moise.
"Moise has all the support here, he doesn't need to find anything more in his career. We bought him, we really believe in him.
"He has all the support from myself, from the club, from his team-mates, to keep adapting to the Premier League.
"This is his present and this is his future, this house, no doubts about that. For me the most important thing is that I speak directly with him. Everything is so clear for me and him."
Kean has struggled to cement a regular starting place in his first season at Everton and was left out of the squad for the 2-1 win over Southampton earlier this month after missing a team meeting.
Silva says the 19-year-old has to be patient as he waits for further opportunities and referenced Liverpool midfielder Fabinho as an example to follow.
"[Kean] wants to play more like all the players we have. We have to look for him, and we have to look for all the games we have played - how many games he played as well," said Silva.
"You have many, many, many examples in the Premier League. Players with more experience than him come to the Premier League and didn't play [straight away].
"We have an example not far away: Fabinho, who had more experience than [Kean]. First six, seven months he didn't play. Most of the games he was in the stands as well. He is not the only example.
"The most important thing for us is to look out for Moise - keep teaching him, for him to adapt as fast as he can. You are talking about a talent with quality.
"He has all the support from myself, my staff, everyone in the club - and he is working hard to play because it is what he wants."

According to the Daily Star, Everton forward Moise Kean could be offered a chance to leave Goodison Park in the January transfer window, with Roma wanting the striker.
Roma are eager to take the Italian striker on loan initially, with a view to buying him for £19 million on a permanent transfer.
Kean has struggled badly since moving to Everton in the summer, and Roma feel that they could take advantage of the situation.
However, Everton are said to have very little interest in cashing in on Kean, as they still feel he can fulfil his potential on Merseyside.
