Prior to taking on the Foxes, Duncan Ferguson has provided an Everton team news update.
Lucas Digne was forced off 25 minutes into Everton’s last tie vs Man United and Ferguson has confirmed the Frenchman will not be fit for Wednesday.
Ferguson then spoke about Fabian Delph and Gylfi Sigurdsson.
The caretaker boss stated he thinks the Leicester tie will come too soon for Delph but they are hopeful of having Sigurdsson back:
“Lucas got a strain on his groin area so how long it’s going to be, I’m not quite sure, but obviously he won’t be fit for Wednesday.
“Delph is closer but I think the game will come too soon for him.
”We’re hopeful on Gylfi. We’ll wait and see. That’ll go right to the wire, I think.”

TEAM NEWS
Duncan Ferguson says Gylfi Sigurdsson's availability for Wednesday night’s Carabao Cup quarter-final "will go to the wire" after the Icelandic playmaker missed Sunday’s 1-1 draw at Manchester United through illness.
Everton are also waiting on the fitness of Djibril Sidibe, with illness having also sidelined the French right-back for the Old Trafford encounter.
Lucas Digne will not be available after he went off with a groin injury during the first half at United.
Ferguson added Fabian Delph is nearing a return but is not expected to be ready for the Leicester clash.
Jean-Philippe Gbamin (quadriceps) and Andre Gomes (ankle) continue to be long-term absentees.
Leicester have no fresh injury concerns, with Matty James and Bartosz Kapustka their only first-team absentees.

KEY STATS AND MILESTONES
Dominic Calvert-Lewin boasts an impressive record in the Carabao Cup, having notched seven goals in six games in the competition for Everton, including three separate braces.
Leighton Baines could make his 414th Everton appearance on Wednesday, taking him level with Tim Howard in 13th on the Club’s all-time appearances list.
Everton are aiming to reach their third League Cup semi-final since 2008.
Goodison is hosting its first quarter-final clash in the competition since 1988. Everton beat Manchester City 2-0 in that game, with Graeme Sharp and Adrian Heath on target.
ONE TO WATCH: YOURI TIELEMANS
The Belgian international has had a stellar 12 months at the King Power Stadium since moving from Monaco in January, initially on loan.
The 22-year-old has scored five goals and provided five assists in all competitions so far this term. His fine form has helped Leicester move up to second place in the Premier League table, with Tielemans playing all but 28 minutes of the Foxes' top-flight campaign.
He has been an ever-present in the Carabao Cup, too, scoring twice in Leicester's run to the last eight.
