Everton midfielder Jean-Phillipe Gbamin has posted an injury update to his Instagram page ahead of pre-season.
Gbamin missed the majority of last season before making his comeback to the delight of Everton fans.
However, his time in the side lasted no longer than a week after suffering medial ligament damage in a training ground incident with Lucas Digne.
Everton confirmed the Ivorian would not require surgery but could not play a part in the remainder of the season. Gbamin is aiming to join his teammates for pre-season training and posted an injury update to his Instagram page on Sunday. He wrote: "Preparation, work continues."

He is out until September according to bbc Merseyside when they last discussed his injury We really need to sell him on as we can't keep paying a player a fortune every week to sit in the physio room.
