Turkish newspaper Star claim Oumar Niasse has been offered to Besiktas but the Istanbul club’s manager Sergen Yalcin has rejected the chance to sign the Senegalese international.
Niasse is expected to leave Everton when his contract expires at the end of the season, and there were reports in the Turkish press he could return to the Super Lig after his spell with Akhisarspor in 2013.
According to Star, Besiktas was seen as a possible destination for the player after his agent offered him to the Turkish club, but Yalcin isn’t keen on the Everton player.
The former Lokomotiv Moscow striker cost Everton €17.9m when they signed him from the Russian club in 2016, but he’s failed to make an impact during his time on Merseyside

Turkish newspaper Hurriyet report Galatasaray have made significant progress in their pursuit of Oumar Niasse, whose contract with Everton will expire at the end of the season.
It’s reported the Turkish champions will listen to offers for Radamel Falcao because of his high wages, and they could look to replace him with Niasse.
The Senegalese striker has been continuously linked with a return to the Turkish Super Lig, where he played with Akhisarspor during the 2013/14 season, and Hurriyet report this ‘dream’ could turn into reality.
Niasse is said to want a return to Turkey, and the Galatasaray board are especially keen to sign him because they can land him on a free transfer. That’s important, given the club’s finances aren’t in the best shape this summer.
Hurriyet claim an agreement between the two sides will be reached at the end of the season, and the 30 year old will head to Istanbul.

Niasse revealed the shocking way the Dutchman treated him on Merseyside.
“When Koeman arrived I was a real good target to destroy,” Niasse told BBC.
“He tried, but I was strong enough to stay. I worked so hard to come to the Premier League so I had to stay in the Premier League. “For him (Koeman), he worked so hard to let me go. He tried to do a lot of things that were not nice.
“Having taken my locker, my shirt number, he took me out of the dining room where we eat and took me to the Under-23s without no locker there.
“It was very difficult. You need a very strong mindset to deal with that because you don’t have any respect at the club.
“Using the word ‘slavery’ is too much, but it was very difficult. That’s all I can say.”
