L’Equipe claim Yerry Mina has suffered a foot injury that will keep him out until next month. Mina was pictured back in training with Everton’s first team last week but L’Equipe believe the giant defender has a metatarsal fracture in his left foot. If true, Mina would miss this weekend’s clash with Fulham and be expected to return after the next international break which ends on October 16th. I thought he did that ages ago.

I thought he did that ages ago. Apparently it is a new injury I don't think there's much truth in the rumour, at least as far as a fresh break.

TEAM NEWS
Everton remain without Seamus Coleman (foot), Yerry Mina (foot) and Andre Gomes (hamstring) for Saturday’s clash with Fulham at Goodison Park.
James McCarthy remains sidelined as he continues his rehabilitation from a broken leg.
Skipper Phil Jagielka has returned to full training, however.
Fulham midfielder Tom Cairney could return after recovering from an ankle injury, while the Cottagers will assess the fitness of centre-back Alfie Mawson, who has a back problem.
Defender Tim Ream is fully fit and could play his first game of the season.
KEY FACTS, STATS AND MILESTONES
In League meetings, Everton have beaten the Cottagers 21 times on the bounce at Goodison Park.
The Blues did the double over Fulham in their last Premier League season in 2013/14. Everton won 4-1 at Goodison Park in December 2013, before securing a 3-1 victory at Craven Cottage in March 2014.
Everton have won their past five matches on September 29. The Toffees’ previous game on this date was a 3-1 home win over Southampton in 2012.
If Everton score twice it will take them to 100 against Fulham in all competitions at all venues.
Dominic Calvert Lewin requires one more appearance to reach 100 career games in all competitions.
ONE TO WATCH: Jean Michael Seri
You needed only listen to Marco Silva address the nation’s media 24 hours before kick-off to appreciate the quality of Fulham midfield dynamo Seri.
Everton boss Silva plainly has a lot of time for the enterprising football Slavisa Jokanovic’s team have added to the Premier League.
He flagged up Alexander Mitrovic – five goals in six top-flight games this term – and rangy central midfielder Kevin McDonald as men to keep an eye on.
But as Silva mulled over the menace carried by Fulham it was the name of Serri he reached for first.
Fulham were widely considered to have pulled off a huge coup when they beat off a loaded field chasing Ivory Coast international Seri in the summer and the 27-year-old’s form in the season’s embryonic phase has acted to beef up his reputation on these shores.
Small in stature but stocky in frame, the athletic Seri inspired Fulham to their first win this term against Burnley.
On receiving a pass infield with the scores goalless he used his first touch to nudge the ball into the space vacated by a fast-closing defender.
Seri strode forward and with his second touch from 25 yards unleashed a shot which flew across goalkeeper Joe Hart and into the top-right corner.
Fulham won the game 4-2 and the following week drew 2-2 at Brighton & Hove Albion, with Seri’s brilliant scooped pass setting up forward Andre Schurrle for the Cottagers’ opening strike.
A player who cites former Barcelona midfield metronome Xavi as his football idol, it is little wonder Seri puts great premium on looking after the ball.
His passing is crisp and progressive, while his extraordinary stamina enables Seri to contribute mountains of work to his side’s defensive effort.
Seri was on the brink of joining Barca in summer 2017 but remained with Nice for one more season after his proposed move fell down at the eleventh hour.
MAN IN THE MIDDLE: Roger East
Wiltshire official East will be overseeing his first Premier League game this season at Goodison Park tomorrow.
He took charge of Manchester City's midweek Carabao Cup victory at Oxford United and refereed the top-end League One clash between Peterborough United and Portsmouth a fortnight ago.
East officiated 18 top-flight games last term, with his most recent Everton fixture the Toffees' 2-0 success over Brighton & Hove Albion in March. He issued only one red card in those 18 matches - dismissing Huddersfield Town's Chris Schindler for a second bookable offence in a match against West Bromwich Albion last November.
The 53-year-old first refereed in the Football League in August 2007. He moved up to Premier League duties in September 2012 when he handled a 2-2 draw between Swansea City and Sunderland.
