Surely we have to be more positive than in the league game? They are heavy favourites but other teams go there and give them a far better game than we do because it isn’t in their heads to the same degree ie the expectancy to get hammered. I would rather go out of the cup having a genuine go than try to pinch one with another rearguard job. We can't even have a go at the bottom clubs so what chance is there of doing it at Anfield? We'll play exactly the same way we did last time, only this time they'll have planned for it and will probably embarrass us. After the league game a few weeks ago when he thought everyone and everything went against him, Klipperty Klopp doesn't want to beat us in this cup match, he will want to totally embarrass us. Hope fat head man has something up his sleeve and surprises even me (cant see that happening tho)

Agreed. Every game is different but you would expect them to have more than enough for us this time. Allardayce’s biggest asset so far has been his good fortune which will inevitably turn. Exit the Cup, win four more games against lowly opposition at home, obtain safety, grinding football - and then we are stuck with him for another 15 months at least.

What if he buys a few players and turns us around? It's not beyond impossible is it?
