Chelsea offer Romelu Lukaku bigger wage than Diego Costa to secure Everton star's transferCHELSEA are reportedly willing to offer Romelu Lukaku a more lucrative deal than top striker Diego Costa to ensure his move from Everton.Romelu Lukaku has made it clear he will not be with Everton next season, claiming this week it is "not an option" for him to remain at Goodison Park. Express Sport understands his decision to leave has prompted a wealth of transfer interest from Manchester United, Bayern Munich and Chelsea. And according to the London Evening Standard, the Blues will pull out all the stops to ensure Lukaku joins them - offering him a better deal than Diego Costa. The report says the Blues are willing to offer the Belgium international in excess of £150,000 a week to return to Stamford Bridge. The Standard claim Manchester United have also put forward a huge £200,000-a-week deal to tempt him to Old Trafford. However, United have reportedly since switched their attention to Real Madrid's Alvaro Morata as they feel Lukaku is likely to join the Blues. The Belgian rejected a huge £140,000-a-week contract with Everton in March - the biggest in the club's history. And he claimed this week a move away from Goodison Park is inevitable, revealing his agent Mino Raiola is busy sorting out his move. "To stay at Everton is not really an option for next season. I remain calm, serene compared to what is being said," Lukaku said. "A return to Chelsea? No comment. There is nothing concrete with a club at the moment, my agent is busy talking. "I will not make big statements about my future I know where I want to play; in a club which is playing in the Champions League and can win titles in England. "I think England is a league that suits me well because I already know the style of play." Source : Daily Express

I can't be arsed hearing about him disrespecting our club. What player has gone on to better things when they've left? We can argue Lescott won a title but it wasn't long before he was on the scrap heap.
