Welcome tellmema & whuddo. Good to have fresh blood. Halewood will be gutted we won by three lol. They're a good club so a win at Newcastle is a good win. The Moyes ship looks to have fallen away so with a bit of luch Spurs and Arsenal will make a mess of things. If we get a top 4 place I'll show my arse in the Kop but anything is possible and we can only wait.

Decent performance without being spectacular, nufc were awful though. Good to see Gerry putting in a performance but please learn how to pass. Awesome goal from Barkley while Lukaku still remains an enigma, lazy as ***** but scores again. 3-0

Gerry will be a hell of a player if he only took his blinkers off, soooo annoying, does all the hard work, needs an end product. Do you think he'll be here next year? Yes and No, look, it's going to be a case of this scenario me thinks.......................... he is going to go back to Barca. He will train with the squad in pre- season where they will assess him. This there in starts the problem. He was send on loan to a tough league, so he will learn to handle himself, and he has really in fairness. But that is the only plus point he will have picked up. Barca will want to see an improvement in fitness, spacial awareness, player awareness, defending an area behind him, closing down, game understanding, team ethos etc...... And if he has not kicked on since his evaluation last season then I can see them keeping him there to get him up to speed. And there so to speak is the other problem, who's to say another youngster has not overtaken him in the pecking order in la Massia (their development center) and is ready for the first team? If he goes back, no better to them than when he first came here the I blame Martinez for not improving him as a player and so why would they send us another promising prospect? I would love to work with Gerry for 5-6 months, he would be better than Robben and Di Maria!!!!!! bth_thDucksRunsYellow

good goal from barkley but if he hadnt scored everybody would be shouting at him for not passing. gerry seems to be a bit of a one trick pony with his flicks to the byline and is another who wastes more than he gets with his phil nev step overs
