At Everton between 2017-2022
England Under-16 international Rafael Garcia joined Everton from Fulham in 2017.
A skilful, pacey striker, Garcia signed a first professional contract with the Blues in October 2019.
He suffered a setback earlier that year when he sustained an anterior cruciate ligament injury.
Garcia made his comeback midway through the 2020/21 campaign and, in the final months of the season, showcased the dynamism and quality which have impressed throughout his time at Everton.
London-born Garcia is also eligible to play for Spain, speaks fluent Spanish, and his football hero is Cristiano Ronaldo.
“Signing a first pro contract is a huge thing and hopefully it will be the start of something big,” said Garcia. “I’ve had so much help since I’ve joined Everton, from my teammates, my coaches and the staff. The people at Everton are very nice and very kind. The transition has been easy."
“It is a great club to be at, with a brilliant history. Getting the injury was a blow but the aim is to get back for pre-season next year and be stronger and fitter that I was. I’m in the gym every day and working hard.”
