  • Birthplace: Liverpool

  • Nationality: English

At Everton between 2015 - 2020

Morgan Feeney signed scholarship forms at Everton in July 2015.

Born in Bootle, the centre-back has been with the Blues since the age of seven, having previously been at neighbours Liverpool.

Morgan made his Under 21 debut (now u23) against North West Counties Football League Division One side Widnes, as Everton won 8-0 in the quarter-final of the Liverpool Senior Cup, and was applauded by his team mates for his performance.

"Morgan has been terrific since he came in in the summer as a first year scholar,” Said Manager David Unsworth. “He has got better and better with the Under-18s team as the season has gone on and it was nice to give him his Under-21 debut tonight."

“The lads gave him a round of applause at the end which was lovely because he is a smashing kid and we have high hopes for him."

Feeney is yet to make a first team appearance for Everton, which is hardly a surprise given his tender years.

There are still high hopes for his future at Goodison Park, though, and he has been identified as a player who could become a regular for the Toffees in the years to come.

He travelled with the first team to Lyon for a Europa League group match in November 2017 and made his senior debut when coming on as a substitute against Atalanta at Goodison in the same competition on 23 November 2017.

Two weeks later, Feeney earned his maiden first-team start in Everton's 3-0 Europa League group stage victory against Apollon Limassol in Cyprus.

On 16th Dec 2017 it was announced Morgan had signed a new deal keeping him at the club until 2020.

In 2018-19 the under 23 team went on to win both the Premier League 2 league title and the Premier League Cup. Morgan scored the winning goal in the final against Newcastle u23.

On 30th January 2020, Feeney joined Tranmere Rovers on loan until the end of the 2019-20 season. However, on Saturday 1st February, in his first game, he suffered a hamstring injury against Bolton Wanders, and returned to Everton for treatment.

On 25th June 2020, Everton announced that Morgan had been released. Good luck from all at Love Everton Forum.
