At Everton between 2019 - 2021

On 4th August 2019, Everton signed Moise Kean from Italian club Juventus on a 5 year deal.

Kean made 13 appearances and scored six goals in Juventus’s Serie A winning campaign last season to fix his reputation as one of Europe’s most exciting young strikers.

The teenager made his league debut for the Turin club aged 16, replacing fellow forward Mario Mandzukic against Pescara in November 2016.

When Kean played the final six minutes of a Champions League game in Sevilla three days later he became the first player born in the 2000s to feature in the competition.

Kean inked his name in the record books again when, making his full senior international debut against Finland in a European Championship qualifying match in March, aged 19 years and 23 days, he became the youngest player to score for Italy since 1958.

Kean struck against Liechtenstein three days later to double his national team tally and establish himself in Roberto Mancini’s Italian squad, after winning his first cap as an 18-year-old in a friendly with USA back in November.

Comfortable operating on the flanks or through the middle, attacker Kean joined Juventus aged 10 after starting in the youth team of home city Asti and then playing at Juve’s city rivals Torino.

He was prolific in Juventus’s youth side and after playing four times for Massmiliano Allegri’s first team in his debut campaign spent 2017/18 on loan with Verona.

Kean scored four times in 20 appearances – 13 of them starts – for the side from northern Italy.

The 19-year-old exploded into the wider football public’s consciousness on returning to Juventus last season.

He played 17 matches in all competitions, contributing directly to eight goals – scoring seven and assisting one – a return which equated to the forward being involved in a goal every 83 minutes.

Kean’s promise was underlined by a scoring run of six goals in six Serie A matches after being installed in the starting XI by Juve manager Allegri in March.

The player represented Italy at every level from Under-15 through to Under-21 before senior boss Mancini rewarded him with a first senior cap last nine months ago.

Kean scored eight goals in 21 senior Juventus appearances. In 35 Serie A matches for Juve and Verona he was on target 11 times.

Kean scored his first Everton goal on Tuesday 21st January in a 2-2 draw at home to Newcastle.

On 4th October 2020, Moise joined French club Paris Saint-Germain on loan for the remainder of the 2020-21 season.

On 31st August 2021, Everton announced that Moise Kean was to leave the club, re-joining Juventus on a 2 year loan deal, with an obligation to buy at the end of the loan, thus ending his time as an Everton player.

We wish Moise every success for the future.
