Megan Finnigan - Defender
Megan, born 02/04/1998 is a former English u17 International.
A versatile player, Finnigan can play in both defence and midfield.
She made her debut in the 2015, making six appearances.
However, she spent the last six months on the sidelines after suffering a serious ankle injury in the Continental Cup fixture against Durham Women.
But she made her comeback in the FA Cup win over Nottingham Forest earlier this season and has continued to feature in the WSL.
For England, she has played for both the Under-17s and Under-19s.
In July 2017, Megan turned professional with Everton, on a full time basis, signing a 2 year contract.
On 2nd July 2019, Megan extended her contract with Everton Women by another 2 years, and then on 21st July 2021, she extended again for another season. On Wednesday 5th April 2023, Everton announced that Megan had signed a new 3 year deal with the club.
Contracted until: June 2026.
