Jen Herst was brought in as first team goalkeeping coach in 2018, arriving from fellow WSL side Manchester City.

She had served as the Citizens’ Development Squad goalkeeping coach for two years, alongside a similar role with City’s Regional Talent Centre.

Prior to that, she had spent eight years at Liverpool, working with their goalkeepers within the Centre of Excellence.

Herst has also spent the last three years working with England’s youth sides as part of her role with the National Performance Camps, having previously worked with the Lionesses’ Under-15s.

After the departure of Andy Spence, Herst was appointed interim Head Coach of Everton Ladies in November 2018.

On 18th September 2019, Jen joined Liverpool FC Women.
