Jack Kiersey - Profile

Jack Kiersey joined Everton's Academy at the age of 10.

The Manchester-born midfielder, who is eligible to represent England and Republic of Ireland, signed scholarship forms at Finch Farm in July 2015.

On 26th May 2017, Jack signed a new 1 year professional contract, keeping him at Everton until June 2018.

The central midfielder, who is eligible to represent England and the Republic of Ireland, has been a regular for Everton Under-18s this season and was recognised earlier this month as the team’s Player of the Year for 2016/17.

“Winning the award and signing the new contract is special,” said Kiersey. “It is what I’ve always wanted, what I’ve always been aiming for since I joined Everton’s Academy when I was 10 years old.

“I’ve always seen photos of players signing their contracts and now it’s a dream come true that I have done the same.

“I’ve been here a long time and I know what this Club means.”

Kiersey’s progress through Everton’s youth system has seen him work alongside esteemed coaches Kevin Sheedy and David Unsworth.

“I managed to get in and around the Under-23s team this season,” added the 18-year-old.

“I want to kick on now, do as well as I can in pre-season and see where things go from there.”

On 12th July 2018, Jack signed a new 1 year deal with the club.

In 2018-19 the under 23 team went on to win both the Premier League 2 league title and the Premier League Cup.

On 7th June 2019, Everton announced that he had been released and no new contract offered.

Everton wishes to thank all departing players for their contribution throughout their time at the Club.
