At Everton between 2014 - 2021


Callum Connolly became a first-year scholar at Everton in June 2014.

The Liverpool-born youngster, who first joined the Club's Academy as a nine-year-old, can play as a defender or midfielder.

Athletic with good passing ability, Connolly had the opportunity to represent Bulgaria, yet represented England Under-17s and Under-18s and was part of the Young Lions' squad that participated in the 2014 Algarve Tournament against Portugal, Holland and Germany.

His versatility was shown in the 2013/14 league title-winning campaign as he featured at full-back and defensive midfield.

In July 2015, Connolly signed his first professional contract, keeping him at the Club until the end of 2016/17.

On 3 March 2016, he joined League One side Barnsley on a one-month loan deal. He made his debut two days later, in a 3–1 win over Walsall at the Bescot Stadium.

Then on 16th April 2016, Callum made an impressive first team debut replacing Seamus Coleman for the 2nd half against Southampton FC.

19th July 2016 saw versatile youngster Connolly extend his stay with the Blues by putting pen-to-paper on a three-year deal that will run until the summer of 2019.

On Sunday 11th Jone 2017, Callum was part of the squad that won the u20 World Cup beating Venezuala 1-0 in the final.

On 31st August 2017, Callum signed a season-long loan switch to Championship club Ipswich Town.

On 9th August 2018, Callum signed a new 3 year deal keeping him contracted to Everton until June 2021.

Immediately after, he joined Wigan Athletic on a season long loan.

On 31st January 2019, it was announced Callam had joined Bolton Wanderers on loan until the end of the 2018-19 campaign after his loan deal with Wigan Athletic was cancelled.

On 29th August 2019, Callum completed a season-long loan move to Lincoln City. However, the loan was cut short and on 6th January 2020 he joined Fleetwood Town under the same terms.

On 16th October 2020, Everton announced that Callum had joined Fleetwood Town once again, on loan for the remainder of the 2020-21 season.

Callum left Everton at the end of the 2020-21 season. On 24th June 2021, he signed a 2 year deal with Blackpool FC.
