We should have took Joe Hart on while the chance was there. It would be interesting to know if there was ever any chance that Hart would have been allowed to join another Premier League team? You might have something there, as it's strange no other Premier League club tried to sign him. Koeman might go for the Southampton keeper given he knows him well.

I'm certain that neither are the long term solution, but i have no expectation of a 'keeper in January - who'd let a top keeper go mid season? At the moment, I'd back Joel. Seeing him command his area and take crosses out near the edge of his box, was a revelation! Didn't ever see Timbo do that in 8 seasons!
Joel has rectified his appalling kicking it seems (famous last words), and has always been a good 'stopper', it's the occasional clanger we lamented last season and before. To date, little evidence of that, unlike Stek. So, yes, a spell in the side is the least Joel deserves at the moment.

Managers like to have their own players in the team, but with the exception of a few games Stek has been patchy.

Koeman praised Robles for his performance and mentioned how he instilled confidence to the back four - on that basis he should get a run if he keeps to that standard

I'm convinced neither has a future as the main player here. Money talks, so if Moshiri is willing to pay then clubs will sell.
