Considering the number of times he overlaps in strong attacking positions his final ball is just not good enough. That's been the script all season and was no different today but crucially he kept going and was in the right place at the right time to send that header looping over Fabianski.

Tremendous amount of work off the ball; his usual destructive presence in front of the defence with the odd moment of quality when carrying the ball forward but, and this isn't is fault, he hasn't got the vision of Gareth Barry.

Missed a decent chance in the first half and never looked like dominating a backline which was short of confidence coming into this fixture. In fairness he had precious little service in terms of the quick balls into the channels he thrives on.
Yannick Bolasie 6
Too erratic in terms of his final ball's quality and at times over-did it when he received the ball in dangerous areas. Inconsistency seems to be this guy's main flaw but he doesn't give in and one of his deliveries led to the vital equaliser.
