Everton transfer rumours: Oumar Niasse set for Galatasaray move in JanuaryA round-up of transfer rumours and speculation from around the webCould Oumar Niasse's fairytale story at Everton finally be at an end? According to reports in Turkey, the Senegal forward is ready to accept a move to Galatasaray in January. Niasse had originally wanted to stay in England following his £13.5m move to Merseyside in January, but despite plenty of goals for Everton's U23s, Ronald Koeman has not been swayed on Niasse's position. Niasse arrived at Goodison with a decent reputation, having scored 19 goals in 42 games for Lokomotiv Moscow in Russia. But just a few games into his time at Everton and it was clear that Niasse wasn't quite up to standard. The Senegal international struggled to make an impact, something Roberto Martinez put down to fitness issues. Martinez left and Koeman arrived in the summer, and Niasse's time at Everton was effectively up. Thanks for the memories, Oumar. Liv Echo

I don't understand how fans can say this given the small amount of minutes he's played. Other players in our team stink the place out on a regular basis, including our 'star players', yet fans rate them, but Niasse has only played 143 minutes of the Premier League, in a team struggling under Martinez, so surely it's impossible to judge from that how good he is? My biggest frustration is that I've 'not' had the opportunity to judge for myself.
