Tottenham midfielder Ryan Mason has joined Hull City for a club record fee, the club has confirmed. Mason, 25, slipped behind Dele Alli, Eric Dier and Mousa Dembele in Spurs' pecking order and made just eight league starts last season in an injury-hit campaign. Now Spurs' signing of Victor Wanyama in an £11 million deal from Southampton has further blocked Mason's path to the first-team, so he has opted to move on, signing a three-year deal at the KCOM stadium. "I'm delighted and excited to be here," said Mason. "I can't wait to get started and I see this as a massive opportunity for me."

It's good to see Hull signing players as things are getting pretty desperate over there.
