Portuguese newspaper A Bola say that Yacine Brahimi is likely to make a "dream" move for the English Premier League this week and that Everton are leading the chase for him. The Blues' interest in Brahimi was first reported by Sky Sports earlier this week but A Bola's suggestion is the first since then. They claim that Everton have offered €30m for the Algerian international but that Porto are demanding upwards of €40m to cover the fact that they only own half of the player's rights. Assuming the interest from messers Koeman and Walsh is real and the fee isn't a stumbling block, Everton would seem to be in pole position for the 26-year-old. Arsenal were believed to be interested but their double swoop for Lucas Perez and Shkodran Mustafi will likely preclude another big-money transfer to the Emirates this summer. I liked the look of the lad Arsenal swooped from us so if this lad is a goodun then let's do it because we need a striker hands down.

Everton have submitted a £25.5million bid for Porto winger Yacine Brahimi, according to a report. The Mirror claim the Portugese club rejected the opening offer from the Merseysiders and are holding out for a fee of £35million.The Mirror report that Brahimi is impressed with the level of Everton’s ambition under new owner Farhad Moshiri and will become the club’s fifth summer signing if a fee can be agreed. The 26-year-old joined Porto from Granada in 2014 and has caught the eye of Europe’s biggest clubs with his displays on the left wing. He has registered 20 goals and 22 assists in 86 appearances for the Portuguese giants and has seven international goals in 28 appearances for Algeria after playing for France’s youth teams during the early stages of his career. Everton are looking to further add to their squad in the final days of the summer window after signing Maarten Stekelenburg, Idrissa Gueye, Ashley Williams and Yannick Bolasie.

If we're still looking at other players then ok but do we need a winger when we already have so many?
