Mason Holgate looks a good little player to be fair to Roberto Martinez. I've been impressed with him. Absolutely, he looks at home with the first team. It's such a shame that you just know that as soon as Coleman is fit he'll get his place back, despite not having done any better than Holgate has. Coleman has lacked that edge he used to have, so it's probably because he's had no real competition. We should see a difference if and when he gets his place back.

3 points away from home and a point at home to Spurs isn't the worst start we could have hoped for. It's not 6 points but I won't grumble and most of us would have took that under Martinez. We didn't do enough today with the ball, and it's put pay to the myth that Mirallas, Barkley and Deulofeu can lead our attack. They can't, and I don't want to go there again with that.

Ronald Koeman felt Everton were fully deserving of their comeback win at West Bromwich Albion on Saturday.
In the Blues’ first away game under the Dutchman, Kevin Mirallas and Gareth Barry found the back of the net in response to Gareth McAuley’s opener.
The scoreline could have been more had first-half substitute Romelu Lukaku and Ross Barkley netted from debutant Yannick Bolasie’s creativity in the closing stages.
Nevertheless, the result sent 2,777 travelling Toffees home happy and the Blues boss said: “We played well but it was still difficult because it always is coming to this place.
“When West Brom scored to make it 1-0, that made it harder to create. When we made it 1-1, it was a key moment in the game.
“In the second half we played good football. The subs had a big impact on the final result but we forgot to kill the game. We had two big chances – one for Barkley and one for Lukaku. You need to be lucky with second balls, but there was good defending, good spirit and we deserved the three points today.”
Two of the standout performers were goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg, who followed up his superb shot-stopping against Tottenham with two more crucial saves, and youngster Mason Holgate, again impressive in defence.
“After half-time there was a crucial save [from Stekelenburg], like last week,” Koeman noted. “That’s why it’s important to have a goalkeeper that saves you in one or two moments per game. He saved us maybe one point last week and at least one goal again today.
"I’m very pleased with the young boy [Holgate]. He looks like he’s already played two seasons for Everton. He was comfortable. It’s not easy for him to be a third centre-back and then we changed system and he played right-back.
"He did a great job against [Craig] Garnder and [James] McClean. He was stopping crosses and he has a great attitude."
