Arsenal are reported to have already begun their summer transfer campaign by officially bidding €100million for Monaco starlet Kylian Mbappe. Arsenal are reportedly ready to tie up a deal with Barcelona for midfielder Arda Turan. The 30-year-old has been given the green light to quit the Nou Camp by new Barca boss Ernesto Valverde and the Gunners are said to be at the front of the queue for his signature. Indeed, Arsenal have been in talks with Turan’s agent, Ahmet Bulut, for at least a month, according to the report in Turkish Football. Bayern Munich and Chelsea are both considering bids for Napoli left-back Faouzi Ghoulam (Il Mattino) Chelsea look to have a clear path to signing French midfielder Corentin Tolisso (Gazzetta dello Sport) Arsenal have agreed to let forward Lucas Perez leave this summer, with Sevilla showing serious interest (Don Balon) Two clubs have made bids in excess of €100 million for Monaco star Kylian Mbappe, but both have been rejected, a source told ESPN FC. Mbappe, 18, is one of the world's most sought-after players after a breakthrough season in which he won Ligue 1, helped his team to the Champions League semifinals and scored 26 goals in 44 appearances. Real Madrid and Manchester City have been credited with interest in the teenager, while Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has reportedly travelled to the south of France for negotiations with Monaco. However, while the source would not confirm which clubs had made bids for Mbappe, they did reveal that Monaco have scheduled a meeting with the player and his family to talk about extending his contract. Mbappe's current deal expires in 2019 but, to ward of interest from potential suitors and reward the striker for his performances last season, the club are hopeful he will sign an extension on increased wages to stay at Monaco.
