 A City worker took a photo of what he believed to be a crocodile lying on a plank near a sailing and watersports centre on the Isle of Dogs. The worker, identified only as Ben, told News Shopper: ‘My colleague thought it might be a dinosaur but I corrected him that it looked more like a crocodile. It later transpired that the ‘large reptile’ was, in fact, a pile of old rope. Judi Sanders, manager of Docklands Sailing & Watersports Centre, said: ‘This is quite funny although I am sure some people would be taken in by this and not want to come here.’ ‘It is rope, the water gets tested independently every other week.’  |
