Everton scout Carlo Jacomuzzi has admitted on Italian radio that he is an admirer of Napoli attacker Arkadiusz Milik.
Speaking to Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli via Sport Witness, the former Napoli sporting director waxed lyrical about the Serie A forward, with Jacomuzzi saying about the 25-year-old striker: “In the second goal (against Hellas Verona) Milik demonstrated the goalscorer’s instinct. The Poland international has always been considered a great striker.”
Whilst it might just be an off-handed comment about a player who plays for Jacomuzzi’s former club, it is interesting to think if Everton would consider a move for Milik in the not too distant future.
Indeed, the Toffees spent close to £30m according to BBC Sport for another striker in Serie A this summer in the form of 19-year-old prospect Moise Kean, though as stats from Transfermarkt show, the Italian U-21 international has been far from impressive in his first few months on Merseyside with zero goals in 10 appearances.
