Everton are set to sign defender Ezri Konsa from Charlton Athletic according to a report from the Capital. The South London Press claim that the Blues will pay £4m for the 20-year-old this month, one year after snapping up Ademola Lookman from the Addicks for £10m.
The Newham-born centre half has been a regular in Charlton's first team over the past season and a half and was capped at England U20 level last year, making his debut in the U20 World Cup semi-final win over Italy.

According to Portuguese newspaper A Bola, Porto left-back and Mexican international Miguel Layun is looking to leave the club this month in search of regular playing time, with Everton linked with an interest.
The 29-year-old has lost his spot to Alex Telles, and is at the risk of missing out on a World Cup spot should he continue at Porto.
Despite Layun’s struggles to wrestle a starting berth off the Brazilian, he remains highly rated at the club due to his quality.
However, the ex-Watford defender could be on his way back to England, with the Toffees in search of a successor to 33-year-old Leighton Baines.

Everton have been installed joint favourites to sign Bournemouth striker Jermain Defoe during the January transfer window, according to the latest bookmakers’ odds.
BetVictor priced the Merseysiders and Newcastle United at 4/1 on Monday night to land Defoe, 35, before the start of February.
The Premier League pair lead West Ham (6/1) and Stoke City (8/1) in the race for the England international, who has struggled since he quit Sunderland on a free transfer last summer to join the Cherries for a second spell.

Everton have approached Bayern Munich with an enquiry about left-back Juan Bernat, according to a report.
The Daily Mail claimed on their live transfer blog on Thursday [03:57pm] that Everton have hit a snag in their hunt for Bernat, 24, as Bayern do not want to let him leave despite the Spain international only making two appearances in all competitions this season.
It is understood that discussions have been held about several other left-back options they are in the hunt to sign, including West Ham ace Aaron Cresswell.
