Blues boss says England must be aware of Iceland forward in tonight's Euros tie Ronald Koeman says Gylfi Sigurdsson is a “quality Premier League talent” and England must be wary of him tonight. The Three Lions face Sigurdsson’s Iceland in the knockout stages of the Euros in Nice (8pm). Iceland qualified for the tournament out of a group that included Holland, who ended up missing out. A double from Sigurdsson in October 2014 saw Iceland defeat the Dutch before his penalty in the return match, the following September, secured Iceland a famous win in Ajax. Everton manager Koeman says England need to shackle the Swansea City playmaker if they are to progress to the quarter-finals. “One man scored all three Iceland goals against Holland - Gylfi Sigurdsson,” Koeman wrote in his Mirror column. “I like him. “He’s a quality Premier League talent. “He’s in a tough, competitive team but he provides that extra touch of quality. He is their match-winner and England must be aware of that.” Sigurdsson also scored against Koeman’s Southampton side in the league last season. From an England perspective Koeman reflected on the fortunes of a midfielder who used to play at his former club Southampton. The Blues boss said he has been impressed by the contribution of Adam Lallana for the Three Lions thus far, except in one crucial area. "Adam Lallana has had a few chances so far and I was surprised that a player of his talent has won 26 England caps yet never scored at international level," he said. “Lallana is skillful, creates openings and assists others with his clever movement and high work-rate. But he needs to find an end-product. He needs to discover that clinical touch.” By Phil Kirkbride, Liverpool Echo

He's a good player, and one I use in my fantasy teams occasionally.

I reckon he'll move this window but we'll need to be quicker than we are if we do go for players as they're already signing for clubs.

The window isn't even open and already transfers are happening. The problem Koeman has is he doesn't get to meet the players until they return and some will return later than others.
