Middlesbrough confirm signing of Viktor Fischer from Ajax• Denmark winger becomes Boro’s first arrival of summer • Fischer moves to Teesside on three-year contract Middlesbrough have agreed a deal with Ajax to sign the Denmark winger Viktor Fischer. Boro, promoted back to the Premier League this season, will pay the Dutch club an undisclosed fee believed to be around £3.8m around for Fischer, who will sign a three-year contract. The 21-year-old is Boro’s first signing of the summer and the move will officially go through when the international transfer window reopens on 9 June. Fischer, who has eight caps for Denmark, has more than 100 senior appearances to his name since joining Ajax in the summer of 2012. He scored 11 goals in 39 games for the Amsterdam club last season, including one against Celtic in the Europa League.
