Could’ve been saved. Well Joel looks nervous today, guess he isn’t self confident and not sured about his preparedness for this. But still I vote for let him try and gain more experience. But I more concerned about whole team panicking after conceding March is a hard month so there won't be any room for mistakes now as the season goes into the last dozen matches. West Ham, Chelsea, Arsenal, Sunderland who are playing better now then Manchester United are all games we can lose. Yup - time to knuckle down and get set for the run in.

A lacklustre and awful performance from us again. It's lucky that Aston villa are worse than us otherwise we'd have lost that or drawn at best. Martinez out.

Everton moved into the top half of the table with a 3-1 win at Aston Villa tonight.First-half goals from Ramiro Funes Mori and Aaron Lennon set the Blues on their way and victory was sealed on the hour mark through Romelu Lukaku.Villa, after a number of the home fans had staged a walkout protest, grabbed a late consolation through Rudy Gestede, but Everton saw out the game to pick up a ninth league win of the campaign. The win takes Roberto Martinez's side up to 10th in the table and above Liverpool on goal difference. Funes Mori broke the deadlock in just the fifth minute, powerfully heading home Kevin Mirallas' corner. Villa were poor for long spells but rallied to force Joel Robles into three stops in the space of five minutes. But Everton doubled their lead with a blistering counter-attack that saw Ross Barkley feed Mirallas who in turn crossed for Lennon to tap home. And the Blues extended their lead 15 minutes into the second-half when Funes Mori fired in a low cross into the six yard box that Lukaku converted. The Belgian takes his seasons' tally to 22 and becomes the first Everton player to reach 17 Premier League goals in one season. Villa staged a late fightback and Gestede rose above Phil Jagielka and substitute John Stones to make it 3-1 but Everton held on for the win. Echo
