Turkish giants switch attention to Everton striker after failing to land Benteke from Liverpool Besiktas are set to continue their pursuit of Oumar Niasse from Everton after failing to land Christian Benteke from Liverpool according to the Turkish outlet Hurriyet.
Per-the-source, Besiktas are back in contact with both Everton and Niasse and are looking to complete a deal over the coming days.
However, Niasse is understood to be Besiktas’ second choice target behind Chelsea’s Loic Remy. The Black Eagles have also been linked with a move for the former Sunderland striker Asamoah Gyan according to Goal.
Meanwhile, the Mirror reported that Besiktas were keen to sign the former Liverpool striker Christian Benteke. However, the Belgium international ended up moving to Crystal Palace.
The 25-year-old joined Everton from the Russian side Lokomotiv Moscow for £13,5 million on February 1 but has failed to impress in the Premier League.

How much are they offering I wonder.
Feel a bit sorry for him , but this must go down as a major error by Martinez and the Board.

Everton’s unwanted striker Oumar Niasse has broken his silence regarding his future, following claims he could be heading to Turkey. The 26-year old Senegal international yesterday spoke to Turkish Beyaz TV and said: ”I know nothing about my future. If anything happens you’ll know.” Beyaz TV then asked the Everton outcast about if he was aware of Galatasaray’s last minute interest, to which Niasse revealed: ”I don’t know. There are other options in England, and I think my future is there. But as I said before anything is possible.” Niasse also said he’s expecting to leave Everton before Wednesday’s deadline, and that there’ll be no chance he will stay beyond this season with the Premier League side. Galatasaray CEO Levent Nazifoglu also commented on club’s official club TV and said: ”Yes, we’re interested in him (Niasse). But there are other options. We have to finish the job in midfield first. Then we’ll look to other positions. Our manager wants a striker and we want a striker, too. We’ll see.” Benjamin Moukandjo from Lorient is the other preferred option for Galatasaray, but his club aren’t looking to loan him out as they’ve made it clear they want to sell him if outright. If Galatasaray aren’t able to sign Moukandjo, Niasse could still be option in the event the player fails to get a move in England. Nihat Emre Kocaaslan, Turkey.

Oumar Niasse scored for Everton on Monday and fans could not believe their eyes. The 26-year-old, a £13.5million February deadline day 2016 purchase from Lokomotiv Moscow, has failed to make an impression at Goodison Park. The Toffees' under-23 side were 5-0 winners against Arsenal in Premier League 2 and the Senegalese forward bagged the third at Boreham Wood's ground. Niasse has reportedly been told he has no future on Merseyside, although he has been included in their Premier League squad.
