id like to visit australia, has anybody been? 65years has Yes I have, I went in 1995 for three weeks as my sister lives there - about an hour outside Sydney. If you visit, you have to go for at least three weeks to make it worth while and it's not exactly a cheap place, but a once in a lifetime experience. I've also been to France, Spain, Majorca, Canada and Gibraltar.

After coming back from Turkey for the 3rd time, I think I've finally had enough of the country.
I can't believe how expensive it's becoming, and all I did was feel I was getting ripped off at every turn. Nice weather, and some good scenery, but Alanya was a mix of being pestered by shop owners, and expensive beer.

Seriously, it's a nice place, but they spoil it for themselves by bullying and intimidating tourists into spending, and the price of a beer was a joke, averaging 12TL in Alanya which is about 3 quid for a bottle of Efes, and if you wanted an imported beer you were looking at 18TL upwards.
