The lads at the end of the game certainly showed a camaraderie that you cannot fake. I love our club from 12,000 miles away (NZ), so God knows the degree of affection that is felt 'at ground zero'. A fabulous 3 points against a team who's culture and history is to be admired

Where abouts you from mate? Thinking of departing these shores with NZ on the shortlist. Worth a trip?

Where abouts you from mate? Thinking of departing these shores with NZ on the shortlist. Worth a trip? Hi halewoodblue. Is NZ worth a trip? Well, I may be a bit biased. But I am also geopolitically savvy: and in a world that is slowly 'circling round the drain', NZ (where my mum and dad emigrated to from UK in the late 60's), this country truly is a (relative)haven. By no means perfect, and there are ALOT of barbarians at the gate, some of whom are now 'inside the walls' and creating problems...similar to the problem Britain faces (albeit those issues are on a massively smaller scale). Relatively speaking though, (and I appreciate that in today's world, a lot of relativity pertains to personal financial wherewithal ), NZ is a fabulous country to live in (and visit) . It's major downside? 12,000 miles from Goodison Park!

Is New Zealand 2 separate islands? I didn't realise just how small it was compared to Australia when looking on the map.
