It sounds similar to the opposing petition our fans had with our crest. Is Hull Tigers really that bad though? It will all man little if they don't stay in the top flight so they really need to weigh that up and see what their owner has in mind for them as a brand.

Hello lad. I understand your feelings but it would be a bit like us using the Toffees or Peoples Club to effect with marketing. Your owner seems to have his head screwed on, but I'm not a Hull fan etc. What I will say is petitions don't give a true picture of fan feelings, and really don't help. You can have 10000 and only 500 of them would have actually been arsed had they not been encouraged to sign.

You can have 80% happy fans that can be persuaded or pressured into signing and before you know it the club think the fan base has been represented. Liverpool fans and whoever signed ours. It will be interesting to see what the club say but haven't they already registered the name?
