Our start has been good but not anything like as good as it is going to get if we stick to our principles and aspirations as eventually we will tighten up. I don't think we have enough players to enforce our quality if we pick up injuries so I reckon this year we need to be realistic and look at anything as a bonus. I don't see any reason to fall down the table so if we get in the top 7 that should be the least we expect. I think we can write Gibson off this season now, so already we need a replacement in January, or even a Bosman.

Not been impressed personally. The worrying defensive stat is what i thought might happen when he joined and we will concede a lot more the way we our set up and the stupid piss-ball about at the back he likes to employ. We were little unlucky not to win the 1st couple but we were lucky to win the games we did win, (Hammers pressing the suicide button, Chelsea somehow conspiring not to win and us allowing Newcastle back into a game they were buried in) I want to like Martinez but i find myself despising him more and more especially when he comes out with bullshit like we should be top of the table

Shouldn't that be reserved for slightly stronger personal crimes? I think the rest is fair comment, though City were protected with some dubious decisions that could have effected the outcome of the game, and West Ham had a lucky deflection plus a penalty in a match we played well in.
