- I've just had a vision of Steven Gerrard slipping in the box and presenting the ball to Zaha who then scores the winner in the 80th minute and us all singing "Steve Gerrard Gerrard, He slipped on his f***ing arse, he gave it to Wilf Zaha, Steve Gerrard Gerrard" for the rest of the game. No doubt he'll slip in front of the Kop and Jon Moss will give a penalty...
- of course the ref will give a penalty Gerrard will step up takes it and misses the goal by 3 yards. How great that would be.
- I believe we should show the utmost respect before the game and then silence the party with our best performance of the season. Yet again we have our chance in the spotlight to promote our club in a positive light.
- Can someone tell me what price are palace to concede a third penalty?.
- Perhaps we should just give them a one goal head start and save the ref the bother.
- As it is INEVITABLE that the Scouse will get a penalty at the Kop end.......at 0-0. Gerrard takes the penalty, and third time lucky for Speroni in the last three games.. Speroni saves and it goes straight to the feet of Ward. Ward passes to Zaha, who sprints down the wing, and gets the ball into Bolasie, who turns and shoots.. into the top corner!Bolasie runs to the away fans celebrating, lifts his shirt to reveal a vest stating "I'm staying at the Palace"
Disclaimer: Sorry, work has been awfully quiet this afternoon!
- Zaha runs down the wing and crosses to one of our players ? Bolasie shoots on target ? You must be dreaming !
- 0-0 last seconds....
Jon Moss reluctantly gives us a corner after doing his level best to give Slippy a winning send off for 90+4 minutes.
Punch delivers an inswinger, Slippy gets his head to it, off it skims straight past Mignolet into the far corner...
- Come Monday morning Palace find themselves answering an FA charge for bringing the game into disrepute for not letting Gerrard score and having the audacity to actually win and spoil the weekend love-in planned for BT, Sky, and MotD. Two minute's silence demanded of all clubs at all levels annually on 16th May in perpetuity to mark the occassion, Palace obviously and rightfully docked 20 points and relegated.
- One of his trademark back passes or defensive headers - that lay on the ball perfectly for Murray - will do just fine. Or, of course, a slip...
- Or loses his rag in the first five minutes and goes in two footed on McArthur.....Red Card Shame Ruins Anfield Finale.
- Anything short of decapitation would just be a yellow at worst. Ref wouldn't want to ruin the "spectacle"
