UEFA orders 'partial' closure of Kiev Stadium for Everton visitSection 21 closed for second leg tie on March 19UEFA has ordered the 'partial' closure of Dinamo Kiev's Stadium for Everton's Europa League second leg match on March 19. But UEFA say that the number of tickets Everton receive will be unaffected. UEFA's Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body met today following disturbances at Kiev's Round of 32 game with Guingamp. The Ukraine club was charged with crowd disturbances, a pitch invasion by supporters, setting off fireworks and having stairwells blocked due to insufficient organisation. Kiev were fined 70,000 euros and UEFA ordered "the partial closure of FC Dynamo Kyiv Stadium, in particular, the sector 21 of their stadium." It is unclear exactly what area of the stadium is affected. But the 16,873 seats Valeriy Lobanovsky Stadium where Kiev play has 29 sectors. 16:01, 4 March 2015 By David Prentice / Echo

How is this useful to preventing fan violence? There should have been a very firm warning to Dynamo that any more crowd trouble would see them banned from Europe. It doesn't exactly send out a reassurance to any away supporters wishing to travel that all will be safe and friendly.

As though the closing of a section will keep out the mindless idiots. TBH I was expecting them to enforce the behind closed doors rule.

If they are like that when they win, then what will they be like if they lose?
