I thought I'd start a thread documenting David Moyes and his new challenge in Spain. It has nothing to do with anything other than personal interest, and I'd be lying if I didn't wish him well.
David Moyes in talks with Real Sociedad
• Scot is one of four names being considered by Spanish club • Former West Brom manager Pepe Mel is also in frame Real Sociedad say they are talking to former Manchester United coach David Moyes about the managerial vacancy at the Spanish club. Sociedad president Jokin Aperribay said: “There are several names, and it is true those of [Pepe] Mel and Moyes.” Aperribay revealed that the Basque club is considering a total of four coaches to replace Jagoba Arrasate, who was fired on Sunday after just one victory in the team’s first 10 league games. “We are trying to get to know each of the four people we are negotiating with,” he added. Asier Santana and Imanol Alguacil from the existing coaching staff will take charge for Sunday’s home game against defending champions Atlético Madrid, Sociedad said. Moyes was fired from United in April, 10 months after taking over following the retirement of Alex Ferguson.

That could be a bad career move as they are right at the bottom of the league over there.

That could be a bad career move as they are right at the bottom of the league over there. It all depends on the type of challenge he wants. I think he likes the thought of managing in Germany.

I don't think he would want a job in the 2nd tier of the Spanish league somehow as that could be where they end up.

Would be interesting to see how he works abroad. I could see him there to be honest.
