Leighton Baines promised there was more to come after he was named Everton's Player of the Season to complete an awards night double for the second time in three years.
The left-back had already picked up the Club's Players' Player of the Season prize when he was announced as the winner of an exclusive evertonfc.com fan poll.
In taking the double crown - as he did in 2011 - the full-back became the most decorated player since the annual ceremony began eight years ago.
Baines joined Mikel Arteta as one of only two players to scoop each of the two main player awards twice and became the first to win both prizes on the same evening on two separate occasions.
“I’ve been pleased with how the season’s gone but I think there’s a bit more in me yet,” said the winner on collecting the evening's top prize. "I’m always looking to improve and I hope to do that next season.
“It’s amazing to get awards like this. I still find it hard to accept them. You never know if you’ve done enough to deserve them but I try not to be that guy, I try to embrace it and, as I say, I’m delighted.
“Things like this stay with you forever and it’s something I’ll always look back on.”
A clear winner, Baines received more than twice as many votes as his nearest rival, seeing off Marouane Fellaini and Leon Osman, who finished second and third respectively.
Having played every minute of Premier League action to date - the only outfield player in the country to do so - he has equalled his most prolific ever campaign and contributed a total of eight assists.
His first strike of the campaign actually came in the colours of his country as he netted his maiden international goal in England's 5-0 stroll against Moldova.
The 28-year-old returned to Goodison Park and opened the scoring in a 2-2 draw with Newcastle in September before thrashing home a late penalty to secure the same scoreline away at his former club, Wigan, the following month.
His consistency, not to mention his much-heralded partnership with Steven Pienaar, helped Everton end 2012 with European football still very much in their sights, and his bullet free-kick at St James' Park - the Blues' first in a 2-1 win - kicked off the New Year in breathtaking fashion.
A double against West Brom brought another victory at the end of January and he registered again four weeks later to see off Oldham in the fifth round of the FA Cup.
Three assists in another England walkover - this time against San Marino - grabbed headlines in March and there was no let-up in form as David Moyes' men kept five clean sheets in six games to ensure a sixth-place Premier League finish and the Merseyside bragging rights for the second successive season.
