Burnley v Everton FC: Team news and injury updates The Blues will still be without Bryan Oviedo and Arouna Kone for the visit to Turf Moor Everton's Bryan Oviedo battles for the ball with Swansea City's Tommy Carroll during the Capital One Cup Third Round match at the Liberty Stadium, Swansea Everton FC boss Roberto Martinez will be without Bryan Oviedo and Arouna Kone for the Premier League visit to Burnley on Sunday. Both men remain on the sidelines but Martinez hopes to have them fit and available after the weekend's fixture at Turf Moor. Long-term absentees John Stones and Kevin Mirallas remained sidelined - although Martinez intimated he hopes to have the Belgian available again by the next international break. He added that the Blues have to be careful with the player after he injured his hamstring last month against Liverpool. The Blues boss will have to choose between Antolin Alcaraz and Sylvain Distin and centre back at has Steven Naismith, Seamus Coleman and James McCarthy to return after resting them for the Europa League match in Lille. Provisional team: Howard, Baines, Coleman, Distin, Jagielka, McCarthy, Barry, Barkley, Naismith, McGeady, Lukaku Burnley will assess midfielder Dean Marney, who could miss the match with a hamstring injury. Marney has missed the last three games and will be given a late test by the club's medical staff. Scott Arfield is fit despite suffering from sickness during last week's defeat by West Ham, Steven Reid and Michael Keane are pushing for recalls after groin and hamstring problems but Matt Taylor is ruled out following Achilles surgery. Why rest Ross? We need to find rhythm and consistency. He's a young lad so if he isn't 100% fit why is he playing? If we can't beat Burnley with or without him we want shooting. He looked ok when he came off. I'd like to see more of Gibson on Sunday and another look at this Browning as he looks quality. Gibson was a catalyst for good form when he arrived and then injury setbacks took their toll. I think Martinez favours Barry and Macarthy and it won't surprise me if Gibson doesn't get too much of a luck in this season.

Distin and Browning not in the squad, and Barkley McGeady and Pienaar on the bench, while Osman starts behind 3 strikers. Meanwhile check out their number 19. I can see this being a 6-6 draw lol.
